Rossis Member, David Greer, has sent us a new update from the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race.
Following their close encounter with a whale, Team PSP came in 12th place for Leg 2 of the Race but were pleased to win the award for social spirit and best on-board photograph! However, were shocked to learn that their Skipper had resigned.
David said that the highlights of this Leg of the Race were the exhilaration of riding the storms at the helm with such a tremendous feeling of freedom; like flying! Seeing his first ever Albatross and finally seeing Table Mountain coming into view after 24 days at sea.
New Skipper Matt Mitchell has now joined the crew for Leg 3 ready for the journey to Fremantle, 4,800 nautical miles and estimated to take 21-25 days where David is due to be re-united with his twin brother for the first time in 15 years.
